Our Story

Music Room Academy is an independent, mission driven, community based music education initiative creating accessible and creative learning experiences through modern musicianship, music technology, and hands on performance.

Officially founded in 2023 in Canton, Massachusetts, our roots trace back to 2008 in Brazil and later Spain, where our founder began shaping a vision for accessible, innovative, and meaningful music education.

From the very beginning, our mission has been clear: make music learning fun, modern, and available to everyone, no matter their background or financial situation.

As Music Room Academy grows, our vision is expanding beyond a traditional music school model. We are building a creative music education community where students, families, educators, artists, and partners can connect through classes, workshops, technology driven learning, performances, and hands on creative experiences.

More Than a Music School

Music Room Academy is not a traditional school. We are reimagining music education for the 21st century.

Through small group studio lab classes, private lessons, workshops, interactive music experiences, and community partnerships, we create learning environments where students do not simply practice music. They create, perform, collaborate, and explore music in ways that feel natural to their generation.

With tools like digital audio workstations, beat making, electronic instruments, controllers, and interactive lessons, we combine the foundations of musicianship with the creativity of modern music technology.

Our goal is to help students build real musical skills while discovering their own creative voice.

The Electronic Playground & Creative Workshops

Alongside our community based music education programs, Music Room Academy also offers creative workshops, interactive music experiences, and mobile installations through The Electronic Playground.

These experiences are designed for schools, events, conferences, community spaces, creative gatherings, and organizations looking for a hands on way to explore electronic music, sound, technology, and performance.

The Electronic Playground is a flexible creative experience that can travel to different spaces. We bring the instruments, setup, headphones, and creative tools so participants can explore music through play, experimentation, collaboration, and discovery.

While our student programs are rooted in our mission to expand access to music education, our workshops, installations, and special creative experiences are offered as professional services. These programs help support the broader work of Music Room Academy while creating new opportunities for people of all ages to experience modern music making.
